Well, it's that time of year again! A couple of weeks ago, we planted our garden. We didn't have very much success last year--we got two cucumbers and lots of watermelons. This year, we thought we'd try again and hope we have better luck! We planted carrots, tomatoes, snap beans, peppers, watermelons, and cantaloupes. A few plants have sprouted already, and are looking good, so we're feeling hopeful! We bought a little sprinkler system with a timer this year, so our garden won't have to suffer when we go out of town or when someone forgets to water it.

If anyone has any gardening tips they'd like to share, I'd love to hear them! I'll keep you posted on how our garden grows...

We're seeing some sprouts in our newly planted garden too. It's so fun to watch them grow. We're trying snap peas this year too. I wanted to try carrots but Stan said it's the wrong time of year?? We've had a lot of luck in the past with tomatoes and bell peppers. We've had the same bell pepper plants for a few years now and they just keep producing. Good luck! And so sorry about your hamster. It really is so hard when pets die.
