We spent Easter weekend at Granny's house in Tucson. Chuck's mom made so much great food (and sent us home with lots of leftovers)! The kids love spending time with her, and it was fun to have a different location for the Easter egg hunt (the kids know all of the Easter Bunny's hiding places at our house).
Cheyanna had fun finding eggs. This year she didn't stop to eat any of the candy until she was done hunting. Good strategy!

Granny's dogs love Charlie, and he loves them. Here he is with Ruby.

Ruby is showing Charlie a little love. (Yuck!)
Cheyanna is enjoying a chocolate bunny here. She is by far our pickiest eater, but she definitely loves chocolate!

Carson was dying for some boondoggle materials, so he got some for Easter, and he has been obsessed with making
keychains ever since. Last night while emptying the dishwasher, he wouldn't let go of the boondoggle he was working on, so he couldn't get a good grip on the dishes, and he dropped and broke a plate! I had to put my foot down and insist that he let the
keychain go until he got his chores done. He's getting good at making
keychains though. Anyone want a boondoggle
keychain? Place your order with Carson!

Here is
Cade with the Flat Stanley that Granny is babysitting. I forgot to pack
Cade's PJ's, so he got to sleep in Granny's soft and
snuggly Micky Mouse sweatshirt.

We had a fun Easter at Granny's house. She always spoils us with great food and a fun time. Her ward put on a really nice Easter program that helped us to appreciate the real meaning of Easter, and to think about our Savior, the Atonement, and His Resurrection. I am so thankful for Him, and I really appreciate that through Him, we can overcome death and sin, and live again with our families. Hope you all had a Happy Easter too!
