New York City is only a 2 hour drive from my mom's house, so we all decided to go to the city one day to see the sites. We took a tour bus that drove us around the city, pointing out all the sites of interest. We got to see Times Square, the Empire State building, ground zero, the Statue of Liberty (from a distance), Wall Street, Central Park, and lots of other great sites. Unfortunately, NY was experiencing a heat wave that day, so we were hot, hot, hot driving and walking around the city. I know AZ is much hotter, but you wouldn't be taking an outdoor tour in the AZ heat either. :)
