Happy Birthday USA!

There is no better place than Utah to celebrate the 4th of July. We were visiting Chuck's sister, Megan, and her family in Huntsville, UT for the 4th, and we had such a great time there. The cooler weather was a great escape, but the parade and fireworks were top notch too. Here are Cade, Cheyanna, and Grace. This was my favorite patriotic float at the parade. The kids LOVED the fact that the float riders all threw out tons of candy, prizes, and otter pops.

Cade caught about ten otter pops. He was happy to share with his siblings and cousins. Carson caught this hat, and wore it proudly the rest of the trip.

Chuck and his sister, Megan

I loved this Michael Jackson tribute float. They had several MJ impersonators dancing around, handing out oreos. Chuck with his niece, Blythe, and nephew, Cole.

Megan and Joe

Blythe had fun eating all the goodies that the older kids gathered for her.

It was a really fun parade, and the weather was perfect!

The fireworks that night were unbelievable!!! The park in Huntsville does fireworks right over your head, while playing patriotic music on the loudspeakers. It was incredible. My eyes were tearing up, and not just from the emotion, but also because the fireworks were so bright, exploding right in our faces. Happy Birthday America!!
