Cade's Birthday Party

Cade had his Birthday party on a weekday afternoon during Spring Break.  A lot of his friends were out of town for the break, but I didn't mind at all having a smaller crowd of 8-year-olds.  :) 

The kids started out playing some games.  The Candy Bar game is always a big hit (above).

They played "hot potato" and one time it got down to just Carson and Cheyanna.  Cheyanna won!

The pinata holder broke off after about the third swing, so Chuck had to hold the pinata for the kids to swing at.  No major injuries resulted, but Charlie was videotaping just in case something funny happened. 

Cade and his friends had fun splashing around in the hot tub.  

Cupcakes and ice cream cones--a winning combination!

Cade got some fun gifts.  I think his favorite things are the gift cards.  He loves going to the store and picking out whatever he wants.  He got gift cards to Toys R Us, Target, and Wal-Mart.  Lucky duck!
