New Glasses

Cheyanna really wanted glasses, so she was ecstatic when the eye doctor said she ever so slightly needed them (he actually said she didn't really need them--the prescription was slight--but that we could get them for when she needs to see really far away).  She picked out her favorite glasses, and wore them every day.  For about two weeks.  Then the novelty wore off, and now I haven't seen her wear them in a couple of months. :)  Here we are at "free lunch" over the summer.  We were excited that Brinton had free lunch because it is so close to us.  But after a couple of lunches there, the kids hated the food and didn't want to go back.  Then we realized that there was free lunch at Skyline this summer, which worked out PERFECTLY because we had to pick Charlie up from basketball practice at Skyline M-Th at lunchtime anyway.  So since I was already heading there every day, most days the kids would come along and grab a slice of pizza, or whatever else looked yummy that day.  June 2012
