March and April 2016

I love doing baptisms with the Parkwood Ward Young Women!  Mesa Temple

Maddie Riggs, Caitlyn O'Laughlin, Natalie Janes, Breanna Richards, Kara Janes, and Shelbie Rash

Cheyanna and Sachi sang "Fireflies" for the Noah Webster talent show.

Yes!

Cheyanna loves her Duncan!

Devon Rash got his mission call to Zimbabway

We are all so in love with Duncan!

Cade, 8th grade

In April, our family got a very strong spiritual impression that we needed to move to Florida!  It was quite a shock and was pretty hard to accept, but the feeling was so strong that we couldn't deny it.  So we made up our minds to move at the end of June and put our house in Mesa up for sale.  It was a leap of faith, but we knew it was the right thing for our family to do.
Sweet daddy-daughter snuggles

I got to see my good friend Emily Brochart when I went to her daughter, McKayla's bridal shower.

Duncan loves to snuggle up to to his family.

After the General Women's broadcast, we went to The Cheesecake Factory

Cheyanna, Savanaah Speelmon, and Grace Ray

Here is Cheyanna meeting Duncan for the first time.

We decided it is about time we got a dog!  So we started looking at pet rescue groups to see what dogs were ready to be adopted.  These two dogs stood out to me because they are both hypoallergenic.  I called to find out about them, and we decided that Duncan sounded like a good fit.  We went to PetsMart for the adoption event so we could meet Duncan, and it was love at first sight!  He was the sweetest dog there, so we adopted him and took him home with us.

Chuck played in the Memorial Disc Golf Tournament at the beginning of March.  I went to watch him when he played Fiesta Lakes, and took a few pics of him in action.

Chuck loves disc golf!  He is pretty good at it too.  Sometimes Charlie and Cade go with him.  Sometimes he goes with friends like Jefferson or Barry.  Sometimes he goes on his own.  But he goes often and he really loves it.
Happy 19th Birthday, Charlie!  We took him to Zushi and shared some delicious sushi.

Charlie is 19!  This boy loves his Carvel cake.  Charlie is 6'8" tall.  He likes to play Black Ops video games, and he loves food in general.  He also likes to play basketball.  He's a charming guy, and everywhere we go, everyone seems to know Charlie.  He's very friendly and outgoing.  He's a good listener, and he makes everyone he talks to feel like a million bucks.

Happy 14th birthday to Cade!  We took Cade out for all the free birthday meals on his birthday, and told him we would take him to a place of his choosing another night.  This sweet kid is so understanding and never wants to be any trouble, so we didn't end up taking him out for his birthday dinner until September--6 months later!  Cade is easy going and loving.  He loves to dance, and has a lot of good friends who love his sense of humor.  Cade is a peacemaker and always tries to make everyone around him happy.  He's always willing to sacrifice for others, and is a joy to be around. He's also super smart and he loves to learn.  He's curious and is constantly seeking out knowledge.  He especially loves math and science.

I had a lump in my breast removed at the end of April.  Dina came to help me recover from the surgery.  Thankfully, the lump was not cancerous.
