Cade turned 10 on March 9. I took doughnuts to his class for his birthday treat, and he chose to go to I-HOP for his birthday dinner with Mom and Dad. Cade got to pick out 2 new Wii games for his present, and he also got lots of cash from Aunts and Grandparents! Cade is in 4th grade at Noah Webster, and he loves video games, cheesecake, and Minecraft. We love this kid!!
Charlie and Cade, birthday boys!! Charlie turned 15 on March 6. Poor guy woke up with pink eye, so ended up having to go to the doctor on his birthday--not fun! But because of the trip to the doctor, I had to take time off of my internship, and was able to spend time with Charlie on his birthday and take him to lunch at In-N-Out. We took him out to dinner the night before his birthday since he had basketball practice on his birthday night (which he ended up having to sit out because he was still contagious.) He chose to go to Carrabba's, and it was nice to spend time with just him. Charlie is a great kid. He's a very tall kid--he's 6'5" now and still growing! He is the teacher's quorum president in our ward, and he is on a club basketball team, so he stays busy. He's a freshman at Skyline High School. We feel really blessed to be his parents!!
Charlie and Dad
Cade had a few friends from church over to celebrate his birthday. The boys made pizzas, played soccer, football and the candy bar game, and decorated their own cupcakes. These boys are so cute, and they had a fun time together!
